 Qualifications
  • Quebec Safety Officer Certification is mandatory.
  • Postsecondary diploma/degree in OH&S or a related discipline.
  • CRSP/Occupational Health and/or Safety Officer/Gold Seal Certificate (Construction Safety Coordinator) certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related industry with direct experience in HSE.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role is considered an asset.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in both official languages (English and French)
  • Strong working knowledge of construction processes and terminology.
  • Strong ability to influence, coach and mentor others regarding HSE responsibilities.
  • Effective conflict resolution skills.
  • Working knowledge of HSE processes and applicable OH&S and environmental legislation.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
